Walked outside to look at moon, noticed a abnormally bright slightly larger than pinhead sized white light moving rapidly in a straight due east direction. came over the tree line at about 20 degrees, and was lost in cloud cover at around 120 degrees.Flew directly overhead. total time of viewing was 5-6 seconds. what struck me as odd is the speed; i’m in a flight path for fort meyers and commercial aircraft were in the area. this was moving at least 4x as fast. also most commercial aircraft are on a northeast, southwest trajectory, odd something going due east. this light was 3 or 4 times brighter than the lights on other aircraft nearby with no red strobe. just white light. wonder if anyone knows how to calculate speed based on 100 degree movement, figure at least 5 miles up, 5 second span. definitely cool, never know what you’ll see looking up!
