Sighting Details

We have had heavy rains/cloud cover for several days. i work nights, so i let our two dogs out before retiring. tonight is cloud free and the big dipper was bright. i thought it unusual that even at about 2:00 am there were no planes in the sky. i did not bring my iphone with me. i do use the plane finder app (i paid for it) and the noaa weather app. after what i saw i checked both and there was no indication of cloud cover near us and no plans were headed in a southeastern direction. as a matter of fact, the nearest plane would have been a few miles to our north. i noticed the object headed at a consistent rate of speed but not more than 200 mph in a southeasterly direction at what i would guess was about 20000-25000 feet. it’s not what i would consider a normal flight path for planes in this area. it appeared to have a greenish light that slowly blinked while a bluish-white light remained steady. i mentioned to myself that i finally saw a plane tonight, and at that moment it abruptly disappeared. i waited about three to five minutes more to see if it appeared anywhere else along or outside its trajectory. i thought it perhaps had run into clouds. there was no sound. it was at this point that i took the dogs inside and checked my phone for clouds or planes.
