Sighting Details

While walking out in the side yard of the farm i noticed an object flashing lights very quickly. the order of the flashing appeared to be random. the lights were red, white and blue/green. the object was moving at a high rate of speed in a southernly direction. i went in to shut the chicken coop. approximately 5 minutes later i looked for the object and could not find it. as i walked back to the house i saw the object, now to the west, at approximately the same altitude. it appeared as about the same intrinsic size as when i first spotted it. when i say one object. i am assuming that the object i saw in the west was the same object i saw a few minutes earlier in the east. it appeared that the object was over the lees summit area. but without any point of reference i can only say that it was in that general direction. when i say the object appeared to be moving at a high rate of speed, it coved an arc of the horizon of about 15 degrees in less than 10 seconds. i was a weapons technician in the air force for 8 years. a weapons crew chief for 5 years. i worked on f-4’s, f-15’s, a-10’s, f106’s, t33 & t38 aircraft. i also had the opportunity to observe a ife landing by an sr71 in the mid 1970’s. i do know aircraft. while not familiar with all possible configurations of aircraft, i do recognize a plane or helicopter or blimp, over an unknown.
