Sighting Details

Wife upon going to bed, sitting on same saw outside a orange glowing orb traveling without sound from south to north. she came downstairs and related it to me but said it was gone. i shrugged it off when 5 minutes later she hollers down that the orb is back. i went outside and only caught the glow passing out of sight. staying out on our deck approximately 5 minutes, i noticed a glowing object coming towards me from the south. i had a clear view of it as it traveled slowly without sound toward the north in a straight line. it looked the size of a large softball or small volleyball emitting an undulating orange light/glow not very high, about 500 to a 1000 ft up . nothing spectacular, very light winds but off to the north there was lighting but no thunder heard. stayed out another hour but nothing else was seen. i am a retired division chief for ohio state police and am very hesitant to state with any certainty that these were any thing other that orbs of unknown makeup and i remain skeptical.
