Group sighting of Winged Humanoid in Chicago’s Little Village neighborhood

I was just hanging out with my friends in the alley by the panaderia (Mexican Bakery). We use the alley and the parking lot to skateboard and just hang around and talk. There were 5 of us and we saw this thing standing on top of the flea market across the parking lot. It looked like a large man but he had wings that were wider than a car. It was watching us and it had very bright red eyes that looked like the tail lights of a car. It stood there making these chirping noises that we could clearly hear, even from across the parking lot.
It stood there for about a minute watching us, it made us all feel like we were in danger and that it was after us. It then shot straight into the air and flew over us, the entire time it kept watching us as it flew over. My friend wanted to run but we told him to stay still or it might chase us and it would lead it to where we lived. I silently prayed to La Virgin de Guadalupe for protection and this thing kept flying away from us and headed off in the direction of the arch. It made us all very scared and when we talked about it the next day, we felt that one of my friends’ ex-girlfriend might have sent it after us. She practices Brujeria and it just seems like something she would do. If it was meant to scare us, then it did what it was supposed to do as all of us were scared out of our wits.

Investigators Notes:

The sighting took place on Sunday February 5th, 2023 at about 11:00 P.M. in the Little Village neighborhood of Chicago, IL

I talked to the initial witness who made the report and he stated that they usually would go out to the parking lot and alley behind La Baquette Bakery, a local bakery that has been a staple of the Little Village neighborhood for many countless years. They used the area to skateboard and was a relatively safe place to hang out without having to leave the neighborhood. They estimated that it was about 1100-1130 P.M. and it was clear and not as cold as it had been in the last few weeks. They reported a clear, moonlit night and that they were relatively alone in the parking lot.

The entity was sighted perched on the roof of the local flea market which sits on the same parking lot about 50 yards from where they were. The witness stated that it was a pitch black, humanoid shaped entity that he guessed was at least 7 feet tall but was unsure and that it had enormous wings that he stated were as wide as a car. The witness describes the creature had bright red eyes that he compared to the intensity of a car’s headlights.

The group said they felt scared, like this thing was after them and one of the group felt like running but his friends stopped him, they feared it would trigger a prey response by the entity that would have followed them home. The witness stated that it watched them from atop the building before taking flight, even in flight the entity did not take its eyes off of them and eventually flew out of sight.

When asked what the witnesses’ thoughts to this sighting were, he suggested that maybe it was sent by his friend’s ex-girlfriend. He recounted that they had broken up recently and she had been very upset over the breakup. The ex was known to be a practitioner of the Mexican witchcraft known as Brujeria.

I have reached out to the other witnesses through their friend and have yet to hear back from them, I will attempt to reach out again in a few days and any updates will be posted to the website. This sighting will be forwarded to the Phantoms and Monsters Fortean Research Team for further investigation. 

Witness recounts a 1998 winged humanoid sighting in Iron River, Michigan.

This witness commented on a social media post regarding the recent O’hare winged humanoid sighting and the investigator reached out to discuss her sighting from 1997-1998. This is the witness’s report of the events of her sighting.

“It was grayish/white and it happened in Iron River, Michigan (Mineral Hills) where I was born and raised…. Also there was talk of alien abduction in the 70’s-80’s where I am not discounting this has happened to myself or family.

It was like 11pm or Midnight in 1997 or 1998 and it was not a large owl – it was FAR bigger- we were about to drive down a hill and there it was out of nowhere like “swooped” down in front of car and I want to say from one wing to the end of the next likely 8-10 feet long … we both screamed and it flew into the darkness to our old mining grounds

It’s almost like it came from behind us and then swooped in front of our vehicle and all I can say is that it seemed whitish gray and I’m not sure about the legs or feet what have you 

  all I know is like a human kind of body, and then a humongous wingspan. Far far far larger than an owl. It is just like if my husband who is 6 foot 1 would be flying and have a huge wingspan.”

When asked by the investigator if she had previously had any encounters, the witness stated that she had not. The witness then stated that a friend of hers had reminded her that they had another encounter approximately 2 weeks after the initial encounter.

“My friend reminded me there was a second time.Within weeks of that first encounter 

 It was flying above our old village hall (again late at night) and immediately flew out of sight. We were almost to her house and she screamed saying “There it is again!!!”

Both were very fast encounters we never investigated further”

The witness stated that there were no other encounters since then and the interview was concluded. I thanked the witness and encouraged her to reach out if she had any other details to add. If any other details arise, I will update and publish on the website as well as forward the information to the members of the Phantoms and Monsters Fortean Research team.

Third firefighter recounts sighting of winged humanoid over O’Hare International Airport

I was filling in at Station #2 On the fourth of July weekend, we were outside in the patio area talking and watching the distant fireworks display. As we talked we heard what sounded like a very, very loud screeching noise, it sounded like brakes on a large truck. We didn’t pay it any mind because it was probably a semi or airport maintenance vehicle that was nearby. There is a cargo terminal within sight of the station so we didn’t give it a second thought till we heard a series of clicking, rapid, loud clicking followed by that sound again. It was then that one of the others guys saw something and said “what in the fuck is that?” We looked up to see a figure in the sky, it looked like a human with wings and it had a pair of bright orange eyes. One of the firefighters said it was the infamous “Batman” and said it was seen all over the airport and the surrounding suburbs. It was only visible for about 5 seconds before it flew out of sight toward north.

A second sighting report of a Winged Humanoid witnessed by a Chicago Firefighter at Chicago O’Hare International Airport.

I was at work at station #3 at about 0245, as part of the normal routine we take the engines to get fuel at the maintenance yard. It’s about 2 miles or so one way and the entire endeavor takes about 45-60 minutes depending if you have to wait. As we were headed back, we were approaching the firehouse when we saw something move across the street, it walked in a sort of shuffle and as we approached, we saw two glowing red eyes that looked right at us and then disappeared. As we continued to approach the location our headlights fell upon a large black figure that looked like a man wearing black clothing, except he was at least 8 feet tall, super, super thin and had a large pair of bat-like wings. It took off into the air and was gone within a second or two and we lost it in the night sky. It scared the living hell out of everyone in the engine and when we got back to the firehouse, we all went outside to look for it but found nothing. It was the damndest thing I have ever seen in my life.

Chicago Firefighter tells of his encounter with a winged humanoid at Chicago O’Hare International Airport

I work for the Chicago Fire Department and have been stationed at O’Hare International airport for the last seven years. This occurred on Thursday, December 29th, at about 2300 at O’Hare Station 3, which is just past terminal two and next to the HVAC plant that sits across the street.

I was in the middle of my shift, and as usual, I would bring my laptop with me to watch movies and play games on. I was setting up my laptop when I realized that I had left my charging cord in my pickup, so I got up and ran outside to go and grab it and head back in. As I got my cord, I heard what sounded like a chirping sound, followed by what sounded like shuffling coming from nearby. I looked around and that’s when I heard the clicking coming from across the street, I looked up and standing on the edge of the HVAC plant was a very tall, thin human-like creature with huge wings that were spread out. This creature was looking directly at me with a pair of large red eyes that had the intensity of a pair of tail lights or one of the lights on the engine. It just stood there and looked at me and made this rapid clicking sound. I was in complete shock at what I was seeing and just how large this creature was and how enormous it’s wings were, they had to be close to 15 feet from tip to tip and it had to be at least 7 feet in height! The body was thin, and its limbs were very thin and long. They looked like they would be unable to support such a tall body, but apparently, looks can be deceiving from what I was looking at. We stared at each other for about 6-7 seconds before this thing flapped its wings and silently took to the air, and within a few seconds, it disappeared. I stood out there for at least a minute before coming to my senses and realizing I should get inside.

I went inside and told some of my coworkers, besides the gentle ribbing, there was also an air of caution (more than usual considering our profession). A few of them spoke up and said that this was not the first time it had been seen and that it had been seen around the HVAC plant a few times by people and around the airport by hundreds of employees, passengers and pilots. They said it had been seen by a few in the firehouse, but it never stuck around too long and was more content with just staring at you and scaring the bejesus out of people. You can’t work at O’Hare for any length of time without hearing about the O’Hare “Batman”. It’s practically a legend in and around the airport, and people always claim to see it all over the airport. We spent the better part of two hours talking about these sightings, many of my co-workers sharing their own experiences.

Investigators Notes:

I was able to sit down and speak with the witness during the weekend and discovered that this witness is a ten year veteran of the Chicago fire department and has been stationed at O’Hare for the last five years and before that was in the military for over ten years. He has been a lifelong resident of the city of Chicago and has deep family roots within his community.

The witness stated that his shift began as any normal shift would and that there was nothing particularly of interest going on during that time. He did state that the weekend before had seen record-setting low temperatures and winds get caused the airport to basically shut down. The following week brought temperatures that were well above normal in the sixties and low seventies and that the sky was overcast with light drizzle coming down on the night of the sighting. The witness stated that he had brought his laptop as usual so that he could catch up on a movie that he had been watching and that he was setting up his laptop when he remembered that he forgot his charger in his truck.

He stated that he went outside and retrieved his charger from his vehicle and was on his way back inside when he heard a series of clicks and had an overwhelming feeling of being watched. The witness stated that he heard what sounded like shuffling that reminded him of one of his children dragging their feet along. He started looking around and that is when he looked to the top of the building next door that houses the heating and cooling plant for the airport.
He stated that he saw a tall, thin person standing on the edge, and that person was looking directly at him with eyes that glowed a brilliant red. He stated that the entity was looking directly at him and made no motion while they had eye contact. When asked if he felt anything while staring at this entity, he stated other than obvious shock he did not feel any feeling of dread or impending doom.

When asked to describe the entity that was staring back at him he stated that It was thin and at least seven feet tall and had a pair of wings that were extended from its back he stated that the wings must have been at least fifteen feet in width and looked thin, like a thin piece of membrane. He stated that the entity had arms and legs that were very thin and abnormally long and that the entire entity was a shade of black that was so black that it stood out against the night sky. He stated that no obvious features were recognizable other than the two eyes that were brilliant red.

He stated that he entity then began to slowly flap its wings and took off by jumping off the building and flying away into the night in a southerly direction. When asked if it disappeared into the night he stated that it was visible because of the black stood out against a grey sky that was back lit by the lights of the airport for a few seconds before it was out of sight. The witness states that he stood there almost transfixed for upwards of a minute before he decided that it was prudent for him to get inside and tell somebody about what he had seen.

Once inside, the witness stated that he told his co-workers about what he had seen and even went into detail as to the description of this entity. He stated that besides the usual ribbing that he is used to from his coworkers, there was a palpable air of disbelief among those in the firehouse. The witness stated that he was told by his coworkers that the entity is dubbed the O’Hare “Batman” by some at the airport and that it has been seen by members of the firehouse multiple times. The entity seems to like perching itself on the HVAC building and observing the comings and goings of the firehouse and startling the members who work there.

The witness stated that he was told multiple stories by his coworkers of sightings and encounters with this winged entity. I documented all of them and have my contact information to the witness to pass along to his coworkers in hopes that they will come forward. I will detail these other sightings in another report to be published soon.

Father and Daughter Encounter Winged Humanoid in Little Village – Chicago, IL

My father and I had just left the La Burbuja grocery store and were crossing 32nd to go toward my car when we heard what sounded like a baby crying out. We thought it was maybe one of the neighbors’ babies but then my father said “Mira Mija!” and was pointing toward the house across the street. I looked and saw a thin black figure perched on the brick fence post and looking directly at us. This thing was dark, dark black it actually looked like it was absorbing the light around it. It was very easy to make out the body, the wings and the long pointed tail that it swished around much like a cat does when it is interested in something. The eyes were the most striking feature as they were glowing bright red and were locked directly on my father and myself.

I was frozen in fear and the only thing going through my mind was how to defend my elderly father if this thing decided to attack us. I could care less about myself but my father is 70 years old and not able to move or defend himself if he was attacked. I could hear my father praying and asking La Virgin de Guadalupe for protection and to send this thing away. I managed to tell my father that we needed to get into the car as quickly as possible where we could be safe. I pressed the button to the remote and the horn chirped as the alarm was deactivated and the doors unlocked. At the sound of the horn chirping this thing opened its wings and stood up on the fence post and chirped back at us. It took off and hovered for a few seconds, its wings flapping and making a light whoosh sound. My father and Idove into the relative safety of the car as this thing flew away and was gone from our sight

This thing was maybe 3-4 feet tall and thin but its wings were large and maybe 10 feet when spread apart. They looked a lot like bat wings, no feathers were visible as it was jet black. We drove straight home and my father told my mother and my sister about our encounter with this thing and what had happened. My mother said it was probably a bruja disguised as a lechuza and that we were lucky we were not attacked, either way she refused to let anyone out of the house for the rest of the night.

Investigators Notes:

The encounter happened on October 25, 2022 in Little Village – Chicago, IL at about 8 p.m.

I spoke with both witnesses, the father was quite reluctant to discuss the matter for fear of invoking the entity and bringing it back to attack him. The father spoke mostly through the daughter and I assured him that I understood if he was hesitant to speak regarding this incident.
The daughter retold her story and said they had gone to the neighborhood grocery store to get a few grocery items and they were leaving the store and walking toward her car when this incident occurred.

When asked about the creature, she said it was small and thin but that the wings were very noticeable as it sat on the fence post. She said it had a long, pointed tail that it moved as it observed them, the witness saying it reminded her of her cat and how it moves its tail when interested or observing something. She described the eyes as very large and glowing a bright red but that the face lacked any visible features except the eyes. She noted that as they observed it, it remained in complete darkness almost as if it was observing the surrounding light into itself in order to remain invisible. She noted that there was a street light right in front of its position and even that failed to illuminate the creature. She stated that when it took off, that it was thin and that it hovered in place while looking at them and making a sound that sounded like a cross between a baby crying and a cat hissing but much, much louder. The witness stated that she and her father dove into the car and that this entity flew north and was quickly out of sight.

This sighting is one of several that have been reported in the past out of Little Village, in Chicago, IL and this entity so far has been the smallest one reported by a witness. It is also not the first entity to be reported as a Lechuza, which lends to the very heavy Hispanic population that makes up the Little Village neighborhood. This sighting report will be forwarded to the Phantoms and Monsters Fortean Research team for further investigation. 

Couple encounter flying humanoid during walk in Bensenville, Illinois

Sighting Details:

I was out with my boyfriend for our nightly walk around the walking trail at Redmond Reservoir. We live in the apartment complex directly across the street from the park and do nightly walks around the walking trail to get some exercise. Tonight we were on our second time around and were approaching the wooden bridge at the top of the path when we spotted what we thought was a large bird landing by the trees on the other side of the bridge. I told my boyfriend about what I saw and he told me it might be some geese we had seen earlier when we got home from work. Seeing geese was not unusual as we see and hear them all the time during the spring and summer months. As we continued to walk, we were engrossed in our conversation as we walked over the bridge when we heard a very loud screeching sound, like the sound a large owl makes, only much, much louder. We then saw the same large bird taking off, only this time the bird had much larger wings and arms and legs that looked more like a person than any bird I had ever seen. From where we stood it looked like it was about 6 feet tall, much taller than a goose and it had large black bat-like wings. It took off and headed over the reservoir and headed toward and over the apartment building and out of sight. The lady that screamed had booked it and was running toward her car and we stood there trying to see if we could find it again before we continued walking and headed toward home. It took off and flew much, much faster than I’ve ever seen any bird fly and it covered the distance from the parking lot, across the reservoir and the park and over the apartment building in the matter of seconds. I have never seen any bird fly that fast. It was very spooky to see this thing and at the same time fascinating.

Investigator Notes:

I reached out to the witness and was able to talk to her on the phone. She stated that she and her boyfriend have lived at the apartment complex for 2 years now and have never seen anything like this before. She confirmed the date of the sighting as August 2nd and the time as about 8:30 P.M. She described the entity seen as standing approximately six feet tall and thinly built from where she was standing on the trail. She estimated the distance to the entity as 30 feet but that was only her estimate as the entity was in flight when she got a look at it. When asked for any features, she stated that she could not make out any other than the thin legs, arms and wings and that the color was dark black and that it stood out against the sky.  When asked about the screech she heard, she said it sounded like a barn owl, an animal she grew up with and was familiar with. The witness said the sound was much, much louder and that the entity seen was far larger than the barn owls she said she grew up seeing. The witness also said that the entity seen by her and her boyfriend flew much faster than any barn owl she had seen and when asked about the distance it covered she estimated it took all of 5-7 seconds to cover the distance of maybe 3-4 football fields in distance.

The second witness was not available and my contact information was left with the initial witness to pass along to her boyfriend.

A field investigation will be conducted and pictures and measurements will be taken. The information will be posted to the website. This is still an ongoing investigation and the case will be passed on to the Phantom and Monsters Fortean Research Team and they will be updated with further information. 

Couple have brief flying humanoid sighting in Bensenville, Illinois

Time of Sighting: Approximately 12:00 A.M.

Location of Sighting: Bensenville, Illinois

Number of Witnesses: Two

Case Status: Investigated

Case Details:

I was outside with my girlfriend enjoying the pool and drinking a few beers at about midnight when we saw what looked like a large bat fly right over the top of the trees. Upon a closer look, it looked like a person with large black wings and glowing red eyes. It must have been at least 30 feet above us and appeared to be gliding with the wings not moving. We both saw it for about 5-7 seconds before we lost sight of it as it flew over the house. We were at first shocked till my girlfriend told me about the sightings of a large flying person seen all over Bensenville. We never saw it again and we were out there for another couple of hours before going inside.

Investigator Notes:

I reached out to the witness and spoke with him and his girlfriend. Both admit to having been drinking and smoking marijuana but both claimed that they were still sober when the sighting occurred and that they were certain of what they had seen. When asked if it could have been geese, they both disagreed as they said they had seen geese fly over earlier and that geese always are making noise as they fly in a formation and they are unmistakable and difficult to confuse as something other than geese. Both were interviewed over the phone separately and both stories lined up with one another. No evidence of hoaxing or deception was found and both witnesses were adamant of what they saw. Both witnesses stated that the encounter lasted only seconds. This is the fifth flying humanoid encounter in the Bensenville, Illinois area and part of the ongoing sightings around the O’Hare international airport.

Witness has multiple encounters with apparent winged humanoid in Rosemont, Illinois

Date of Sighting: July 2, 2022

Time of Sighting: Approximately 0100

Location of Sighting: Rosemont, Illinois

Overview: Witness has apparent multiple encounters with winged humanoid and alien creatures

Case Status: Under Investigation

Case Details:

I have had multiple encounters with what people have been calling the Mothman over the last two years. It all started with an encounter I had one time in my bedroom in April of 2020. I have experienced abductions since I was about 12 years old and they have continued on throughout my entire life. I awoke to a ringing in my ears and the feeling of being watched from the corner of my room. I sat up in bed and rolled my eyes and remembered seeing two small figures standing just inside my bedroom and trying to poorly blend into the shadows. I went to say something when I heard the words in my head “We have something special to show you”.


I awoke to find myself on a table being examined by a group of taller beings, about 5 feet tall and thin but with large heads and large black eyes. I was unable to move and just loudly sighed out of frustration as I have never resisted and never would. The being closer to my head slowly put his forehead to my forehead and locked eyes with me, reaching into my mind like they have done so many times before. He spoke to me and said “Our time together is drawing to a close, but we wanted to show you something not many people are given the privilege of seeing”. I remember him helping me stand up off of the table as the smaller beings now surrounded me. The next thing I remember is being surrounded by a bright light and finding myself and my companions standing in the park that is down the street from my house. I looked around and saw that we were on the far side of the gazebo and were facing the creek that borders the park. I suddenly became very self aware that I was standing in the park in the middle of the night in an oversized shirt with nothing underneath but my undies. I started to look around to see that we were all alone when the larger being touched my arm bringing my attention back to him. I looked and standing in front of us was a very tall man, with glowing red eyes and a pair of very large black wings. I started to back away when the being grabbed my arm and told me to not be afraid, I was perfectly safe and there would be no harm. The being stepped closer, his red eyes gazing at me when I started to hear a series of clicks, like it was trying to communicate with me. I watched as it touched my arm and the next thing I remember was waking up in my bed and feeling a sort of euphoria, like everything was right for the world that would last a day or two.

My latest encounter started pretty much the same as before with a few exceptions. It was on the evening of July 2nd at about one o’clock in the morning. I was brought to the park to meet with the winged creature. I had been reading about the various sightings all over Chicago and I asked if it was the same creature being seen all over the airport and the city. I heard the word “Yes” in a deep, monotone voice in my head. I asked what it was doing here and it came back with the words “observing you, watching you” in my head. It then reached out with its arm and touched my forearm, unlike the other times I felt a slight prick and observed a drop of blood on my arm. I was shocked but not afraid and I heard the being that was at my side say “our time has come, we must go but we will always be watching”. I awoke in my bed, feeling the usual euphoria but with a slight twinge of sadness, like an old friend has left for good.

Investigators Notes:

I spoke with the witness via phone and after talking to her about her various previous abductions and encounters with the winged humanoid, I asked her to focus on the latest encounter and to describe the creature in detail.
The witness stated that the winged entity was approximately 7-8 feet tall, for reference the witness is 5’4” tall. She stated that it was thinly built, rail thin but she had the impression like it was powerful. The wings she said were smooth and membranous with an almost silky appearance to them and were hinged so as to fold in on themselves and were at least 10-11 feet in width and appeared to go down most of the body of the creature. She stated that she has seen the entity tuck its wings neatly behind its back and also use the wings to wrap around its body. She stated that the wings were mostly silent and she never remembers hearing them. She described the head as blocky and square with no pronounced features such as a nose or ears and the only thing you could see were the eyes. She described the eyes as large, bright and intense. She described the shine as brilliant red and that it seemed to be deeply sunk into the creature’s head and did not move at all. She described the arms and legs as thin and the hands ending in what looked like claws or talons that appeared to be sharp. The arms are described as thin and frail but that the look of weakness was deceiving as it appeared the arms were fully capable of defending the creature if it so chose to attack. She described the creature’s demeanor as “chill” and not aggressive and that when it moved it did in fluid motions that looked effortless despite its size and awkward appearance. The witness stated that there was a slight smell of ammonia associated with the creature when she would encounter it and that it was not overwhelming.

When asked about the creature’s demeanor, she described it as calm, calculating and emotionless much like the alien companions that accompanied her. She described the encounters as brief and that they were over just as fast as they began. I asked her if she felt afraid and she answered that maybe at first but after the first time she felt calm and that she was in no danger.

During the interview the witness received a call from a family member and the interview was cut short. I have reached out to her in regards to resuming the interview and am awaiting a response.

**Update** The witness has contacted me and we will resume the interview next Friday as the witness is away till then. Further notes will be added to the site as they are received.

Witnesses claim to see multiple flying humanoids in Bensenville, Illinois

Sighting Details:

I was outside in my backyard and preparing for a family cookout with my daughter when we both saw what I can only describe as three human shaped objects that looked like they had wings flying overhead. It looked like they were all flying in circles about 60-70 feet above us and moving toward the expressway to the west of us. My daughter took out her camera and tried her best to take video of the flying people but they did come out a bit grainy and unfocused. She and I were talking about how we had both been hearing about the Mothman that seemed to haunt O’Hare and since the airport is only about a mile and half down Irving Park Road, It seemed logical to me that this could be the same thing. We kept watching them until they were no longer able to be seen and I asked her to please send me the video. I know it’s not much but I tried my best but I’m an electrician and I’m not a professional photographer. I can tell you that these were not planes and there were no planes in the area and since we are accustomed to seeing planes landing, they pass over our house at very low altitude and would have been very plain to see and hear in great detail. I have lived at this house for over 10 years and we are quite used to seeing these planes as they come in to land at the airport. These flying things were too high up and too small to be mistaken for any sort of aircraft. You didn’t need to be an expert to make out their shapes as roughly humanlike and what appeared to be wings, it could have been birds but these birds would have been pretty large if they were.


Investigator Notes:

I reached and spoke with the witness via phone and he recounted the incident to me. It was on Tuesday May 17th at about 4 P.M. when the witness says the incident was happening and he was in the process of preparing his backyard patio for the summer and an upcoming cookout. His 15 year old daughter was assisting him that day and was present when the incident took place. The witness stated that they looked up and saw three winged humanoids approximately 60 feet up in the air and they were circling overhead “Like buzzards do” as described by the witness. The daughter attempted to take video of the entities and that was submitted to UFO Clearinghouse along with the witness sighting.

The witness stated that he was certain it was not a plane or any other sort of powered aircraft and stated that the area he lives in is in-line with the nearby O’Hare international Airport runways and he is used to seeing planes fly overhead on final approach to land at the airport. He stated that they are extremely low in altitude and clearly visible in great detail and make a lot of noise as they fly overhead. The witness stated that these objects were too small and too high up to be planes and were completely silent when they flew overhead. The witness stated that he and his daughter watched as they flew out of sight and toward the west and route 83 which is on an overpass approximately 2 blocks from his house. When asked if he had seen anything similar to this the witness stated he had not and this was his first time seeing anything, although they had heard the reports coming from O’Hare airport about the string of winged humanoid sightings that have happened there in the past.

It is highly recommended that an investigator be dispatched to the area to gather photographic and video evidence and conduct a field investigation. The witness stated that he and his daughter would be open to talking to an investigator face to face if they were available. It is the investigators opinion that the case merits further investigation and that it be forwarded to the Phantom and Monsters Fortean Research Team for further investigation. Once a field investigation is conducted all details will be posted to the UFO Clearinghouse website for further analysis.
